- When does LawnWise actually launch?
- The web app is live now — create an account and start using it today. A native iOS app is coming to the App Store.
- Is there a free plan or trial?
- There's no free plan, but every account starts with a 7-day free trial (card required). After that it's $15/mo on web or $19.99/mo on iOS. Cancel from your account settings before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. We use your location to fetch local weather and your yard specs to compute watering needs. We never sell or share your data with third parties — and you can export or delete everything any time from Settings.
- Do I need a smart sprinkler controller?
- Nope. LawnWise tells you exactly how many minutes to run each manual zone. If you have a Rachio, Netro, or Hunter Hydrawise, we hook in and adjust the schedule automatically.
- Does LawnWise work outside Idaho?
- Idaho is our launch market. We're expanding by USDA hardiness zone — sign up to be notified when your zone goes live.
- How accurate are the freeze warnings?
- We pull from multiple weather stations and adjust for your elevation and microclimate. Typical lead time is 36 hours on a hard freeze, with a follow-up at sunrise when the danger has passed.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. There are no contracts. Cancel from Settings any time — you keep your watering history and we won't lose your yard profile if you ever come back.
- Will it overwrite my Rachio schedule?
- Only with your permission. You choose whether LawnWise suggests changes or applies them automatically. You can flip that off any time and we'll go back to advice-only mode.
